Model PAR Permanent Automatic Rerailers
Automatic rerailing from either side and from either direction!
Nolan's permanent automatic rerailers (PAR-1 and PAR-2) are for use in loading areas where constant spillage makes staying on the tracks difficult, or anywhere that a derailed car might cause damage to other equipment such as bridges, switches, underpasses, car movers, retarders, buildings and walkways, etc. This rerailer is a heavy-formed plate-type weldment with ramps to lift the car up to the top of the rail. The diamond-shaped center plate guides the wheels to the rail. Treated-wood support members with fasteners are furnished. The user must provide longer cross ties for additional support.The PAR series fits standard track gauge only (56-1/2'').

DW Rerailers
Nolan's DW
rerailer has a long, low-profile, two-sided design, ideal for a
wide variety of equipment. With Nolan's DW, it is possible to engage
derailed wheels farther from the rails than with most other designs,
and wheels can be retracked from either one side or both sides.
Placed with the exclusive "tie cleats" firmly against the first
open tie ahead of the derailed wheels, the dual action locking wedge
is driven into the front of the rerailers. The wedge prevents both
sliding and tipping. The only tool required for installation is
a hammer. Blocking may be necessary.
DW rerailers are sold per
unit, but must be used in pairs -- a pair consists of one right-hand
rerailer (DW-5R or DW5½R) and one left-hand rerailer (DW-5L or
DW5½L).
NOTE: This
unit is not recommended for multiple rerailments. A rerailment may cause
stress points which may result in failure.

SW Rerailers
The Nolan SW
rerailer can be spiked to the tie or clamped to the rail with an
optional wedge-type locking system (see below). Either way, the
SW is easily and quickly installed for general use to retrack all
types of locomotives and cars smoothly and efficiently. The SW like
all of Nolan's rerailers, is cast in a special ductile alloy. Lugs
on the underside of the units prevent sliding past the first tie.
SW rerailers are sold per unit, but must be used in pairs --
a pair consists of one inside rerailer (SWA-IN or SWB-IN) and one
outside rerailer (SWA-OUT or SWB-OUT).
The SWC Clamp is optional.

CW Rerailers
The Nolan model
CW rerailer is designed specifically for mine, quarry, and industrial
applications. Used in pairs, right and left, the special guide groove
design permits retracking wheels from either or both sides simultaneously.
A steel cam tightens and locks against the rail head as the car
wheel tries to push the rerailer. This unit works efficiently even
with unusually high or badly worn wheel flanges.
CW rerailers
are sold per unit, but must be used in pairs -- a pair consists
of one right-hand rerailer (CW-3R or CW3½R) and one left-hand
rerailer (CW-3L or CW3½L).
